Comments : He is the son of Parvati and Shiva. Ganesha’s head is an elephant head, which is a sign of wisdom. His head also represents Atman. His body is that of a human and represents Maya. He also destroys evil things and removes obstacles. He is also known as the god of success, education, knowledge, wisdom, and wealth. Ganesha rides a mouse. He holds a goad. This symbolizes him helping mankind and helps to remove obstacles. Also he holds a noose to represent the capture of all troubles.
