Known as Sea-Snakes. They inhabit in warm coastal waters from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific. Found in marine environment (coral reefs) for most or all of their lives. Bottom feeders on fish eggs.

Have poisonous fangs. Scales that enables them to swim faster. Glands excrete excess salt from their body. Grow up to 1.6 m long. Weight 0.8 -1.3 kg. Live about 10-12 years. Active day and night.

Comments : Predators: sea eagles, sharks, fish, saltwater crocodiles, moray eels, crabs, and humans.
