Genreal Washington put Greene as a Quartermaster during the Winter at Valley Forge. Food was scares so he had Greene look after it. Greene disliked this job and told Washington he hated it.

Washington let him be active when the time was right. He eventually appointed Greene as General. General Greene later lead the Continental Army is the South.
