Alexander was in 1764 in Stornoway Scotland then past away on  March 12 1820 near Dunkeld, Scotland.   Alexander had a hidden talent and was very good in school that he became a clerk for his school fur tarde thing and alexander enjoy the fur trade and he got inspired to start exploring different places.

Alexander relied on first nations survival tactics for him to be able to survive in the canadian wilderness. If sir alexander did not get the support of the first nations and the years of experience that was shared with him he would of not been known as the great explore that he is. When alexander mackenzie was a little boy his mother died and after the loss his dad moved him and his whole family to new york city because of the war mackenzie only stayed with his dad for a little bit before moving to montreal quebec in 1778 to where he had attend school.
