Sirens cannot exist because there is no way for them to reproduce. Apparently, there are no male sirens, so there is no way they could live until now. Also, only about two to five sirens were ever reported in the Odyssey, and this was in the bronze age.

However, Sirens could have evolved to become other forms of humans (ex: amazing singers, capturing you with their voices).
