Attack 1 : Description The Sack of Troy, was an event in Greek mythology, which took place during the Trojan War. It was the climax of the ten-year siege of Troy by the Greeks, described in Homer's epic poem, the Iliad. The Greeks used trickery and subtle deception to present the Trojans with an enormous wooden horse, the famous "Trojan Horse", as a peace offering. However, Greek warriors were hidden inside. Under cover of darkness, the Greeks got off the horse, opened the city gates and let the Greek army into the city. In the ensuing chaos, Troy was ravaged and finally destroyed, marking the downfall of this legendary city.
